Model Hari Nef has become the first trans woman to feature in a L'Oréal Paris advertising campaign.
Airing during the Golden Globes broadcast, the new ad campaign celebrates the beauty of diversity. The minute-long video, for the brand's True Match foundation, features models of different races and shapes; joining Nef is Blake Lively, Lara Stone, Alexina Graham, Xiao Wen Ju, and Marquita Pring.
Nef tweeted: "I'm in a L'Oréal campaign and that's wild to me."
The move was celebrated online after L'Oréal confirmed their inclusion of Nef in the campaign, many calling it a powerful step for the beauty industry. We can only hope this prompts other brands to follow suit.
