Miranda Kerr on Faith, Family and That First Date (Where He Fell Asleep)

In this rare, in-depth conversation, Miranda Kerr welcomed me into her LA home. Supermodel, founder of Kora Organics, mother of four. What she shared went far beyond beauty, into the rituals, the love story and the life lessons that have shaped her.

We've known each other a long time. What struck me most this time was how grounded she is, and how much intention sits behind the calm.

The Love Story

Everyone knows the headline. On their very first date, Evan Spiegel fell asleep on Miranda's lap. Rather than a knock, it became the moment that sealed their bond. These days she's open about the fact that closeness takes work, and that therapy is part of how they grow together rather than apart.

"I still have therapy. Right now I have a therapist I speak to every two weeks."

It's a small admission with a big message. The relationships we admire from the outside are usually the ones being tended most carefully on the inside.

Faith and Spirituality

Faith is the thread that runs through everything Miranda does. Kundalini yoga, prayer and a daily gratitude practice are how she stays grounded in the chaos of four boys and a global business. She doesn't preach it. She lives it, quietly, every day.

Loss and Resilience

Some of the most moving moments came when Miranda spoke about loss. She lost her first boyfriend at fifteen. And she spoke about her grandparents, who raised her on their farm and who loved each other right to the very end.

"Grandma and Grandpa were together right until the end. They passed 20 days apart."

You could feel how deeply that template of love shaped what she wants for her own family.

Motherhood and Balance

Now a mother of four boys, Miranda is trying to give them the same sense of safety she grew up with, in a very different world, while running a global business and making space for self-care.

"Now with my children, I'm trying to recreate that. Just making sure they have that love."
